Hi, I’m Amy —
and this is
Can Collectors Club.
* courage loading *
I started this as a way to make a little extra money for my family — collecting the bottles and cans we already had piling up at home. Like you might already do.
But after a few runs to the recycling centre, I realised something:
Not about the income…
But to make recycling easier for everyone, create something that gives back to the community, and maybe — if it grows — even build something bigger than just a pickup service.
A local service with a bigger purpose.
Can Collectors Club is a homegrown service — making recycling easier and strengthening our community.
When you join, you're helping:
Keep thousands of bottles and cans out of landfill
Teach your kids about recycling in a real, visible way
Make your household part of something bigger
This is a community-powered service that works because people like you are part of it.
What We’re Working Toward
Dream with me
Right now, Can Collectors Club is just getting started — a small, local operation offering a simple service to help households recycle more easily.
But the dream is bigger.
I imagine Can Collectors Club becoming something more than a free recycling service — a local opportunity for our kids to grow, learn, and get a start.
A chance for us to build something together now, that gives back in more ways than one.
What if, just by collecting our cans, we could create jobs, teach real skills, and offer young people in our neighbourhood a different kind of pathway — one built right here, in the streets they grew up on?
A place where they’re supported, where they learn hands-on skills, where they gain confidence — and where the community gets to say, “We helped make that happen.”.
It’s not here yet — but every bin collected, every household that joins, brings it closer.
